YY Dance Firm (YYDC) presents the world premiere of NOWHERE, the newest manufacturing by acclaimed Chinese language American choreographer Yue Yin, on June 8-10, at Chelsea Manufacturing unit in NYC.

Evoking a state of uncertainty and a way of disconnectedness from our tangible actuality, the piece challenges us to embrace emotions of uncertainty and to discover new prospects and new instructions.

NOWHERE, just like the world we reside in, exists on the fringe of a brand new frontier. Infused with Yin’s stirring physicality and dynamic motion, NOWHERE takes us throughout boundaries on a journey of self-discovery and gives a communal transcendent expertise. The recipient of the 2021 Harkness Promise Award, Yin’s work has been widely known for her innovation in choreography and schooling.
